Hello again,

Look, there’s no use pretending this year didn’t happen and if you’re anything like us, then you’ll be glad to see the back of it.

But although there have been some really tough moments, we’d also like to think that you, like us, are a glass half full kind of person.

In which case, we’re sure that you’d appreciate looking at some of the better, dare we say, happier things that have kept us smiling throughout…

Three Things That Have Kept Us Smiling:

#1. When new statewide restrictions came into place in March, the team had to rapidly create new support options for you, such as our telehealth service, Tele Audiology.

The result of this is that more people are getting access to excellent hearing care, even if they have to remain in their homes for extended periods.

#2. In addition, the restrictions meant that members of our staff, including Dr. Shannon, have spent more time with their families than usual.

This has made us all remember just how important our loved ones are to us, and it has been a blessing to experience this time with them.

#3. Finally, many more Americans have been wearing face masks, and the unintended consequence of this has been that a greater number have noticed a hearing loss.

Any light shone on our profession is a win in our books, and the events of this year have allowed more people to treat their conditions early, before their symptoms worsen.

These are just three things that we’ve been able to take stock on and smile about. What about you?

Updates From The Office (Or Should We Say ‘Pup’Dates)

Like most people this year, Dr. Shannon will be staying at home over the holidays and spending this special time with her loved ones and her pups, Molly and Stella.

Just to let you know, the clinic will have modified hours over the holiday period. Please let us know if you need an appointment near these dates.

We truly hope you have some wonderful holiday celebrations planned for December and the new year – despite the present constraints.

Struggling for a Holiday Gift?

Of course, the best bit of the holiday season is spending time with loved ones, but let’s be truthful here and agree that the second-best bit is giving them a gift you know they’ll love!

If you have someone in the family with a hearing loss, TV streamers, which send sounds from your television straight to your hearing aids are a great option!

They’ve been a hit with people during the pandemic as many have been looking for ways to improve their TV viewing experiences with loved ones.

If you’d like to know more about this great gift, call us at (336) 295-1064, and the friendly team will be all too happy to help.
