iPhone 12’s Worrisome Sound Quality Issue
Apple was excited to announce the release of the newest iPhone this past fall. Many fans and enthusiasts of the iOS devices eagerly purchased the new phones at the first opportunity.
However, not much time passed before customers realized the device was rather flawed. A discussion in an Apple forum showed users highlighting and listing the iPhone 12’s sound quality problems.
One customer explained, “Just got an iPhone 12 and am also having hearing aid issues. The connection is not an issue, but the right one has a lot of interference on phone calls, enough that I have to remove it when on the phone. Left is OK. I have Oticon miniRite and did not have an issue with my iPhone 8. Had not upgraded to iOS 14 on the 8, so I don’t know if it is a phone issue or an iOS issue.”
Many other individuals related to the undesirable conditions, but Apple informed their customers that the problem would be resolved with the upcoming software update.
Has Apple Fixed the Sound Problems Connected to Certain iOS Devices?
As optimistic as Apple was to shut these problems down, many people began revealing that even with the iOS 14.2.1 update, the problems persisted.
Sadly, iOS 14.3 seems to be no different. One iPhone 12 user wrote, “It is just not the iPhone 12. I’ve been having issues with static on my iPhone 11 after upgrading to iOS 14. Hoping iOS 14.3 would have resolved. Nope!”
It was clear that many customers were upset and frustrated over Apple’s slipup, and some even shared that this might be enough to make them switch back to Android.
