The wait is finally over, as all the nominations have been collected and carefully evaluated.
This is our favorite part of the contest: announcing the winner!
This is our second time running this competition, and we couldn’t be happier with the excitement and participation it’s created.
By collecting nominations from local people in Greensboro, we can choose one deserving winner to receive premium hearing aids and professional hearing care to help them live their life to the fullest.
Many individuals aren’t aware of the impact hearing loss can have until it is highlighted by a loved one.
The more we can educate our community, the more we can reduce the need for hearing treatment. This competition is a great way to help those closest to us and continue to enjoy the lifestyle that healthy hearing affords us.

Meet the Winner of Our 2022 Hear for the Holidays Contest
Our winner this year is Kenneth Cheek!
Kenneth has been struggling with his hearing for a few years and has gradually seen it decline. His wife and family have been doing their best to help, but there’s not much they can do without professional help.
Kenneth received many nominations from his friends and family. While it’s not about the number of nominations, we were blown away by how many people care for Kenneth and want to see improvement in his hearing and overall lifestyle.
It was very common for Kenneth to just smile and nod his way through conversations, but that has been creating tension at home and at work.
Now that he will receive top-of-the-line hearing aids, he can get back to hearing things the first time and enjoying his fantastic life.
Congratulations, Kenneth; we are so happy to see you enjoying your healthy hearing and all the wonderful things that go with it!

Your nominations are what make this competition worthwhile. Hearing your stories about loved ones and how important better hearing will be for their wellbeing is why we do what we do.
Ultimately we are looking for the person who we believe deserves new hearing aids the most. This can be done through a long, heartfelt nomination, or it can be done through many humorous and caring nominations.
The latter is how Kenneth won, and here are just some of the nominations we received for Mr. Kenneth Cheek:
He has always been an incredibly hard worker and would be humbled to have the gift of hearing back. I am his mother and would love for him to hear me. He is an incredibly hard worker, and I believe he deserves the gift of hearing. He would lend us an ear, but we all know he can’t hear so 🙉.
Please help him ❤️😂 His hearing is really bad, and it is becoming hard for my mother to adjust. She’s going down with him. He’s hardworking and has been for a while and still running his own business.
It would be super beneficial for him to hear his clients’ needs and keep them happy. He can’t hear, and he’s taking me down with him!
Because Kenneth is a hardworking guy who represents the best of us at all times. However, I do have to yell at him a decent amount at work…but not because he needs direction.
He just needs extra volume!

We are thrilled with the results and look forward to doing this again in 2023!
We promise to expand our outreach this year to those in need in our community and beyond so we can help even more people and their families.
