Dr. Jenna Raymond was born and raised in Glen Head, New York. She was drawn to the world of hearing care after completing an American Sign Language class in high school. Her teacher, who was Deaf, had cochlear implants and was an advocate for the Deaf community.

Inspired by her teacher, Dr. Raymond then went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park. She spent her summer and winter vacations volunteering at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan, where she observed pediatric and adult cochlear implant appointments.

She was awarded her doctorate in Audiology at the Graduate School and University Center, The City University of New York in Manhattan. Spending a year of residency at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, Dr. Raymond gained clinical skills in pediatric and adult testing, specializing in aural rehabilitation for patients with hearing aids and cochlear implants. Dr. Raymond remained at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she spent the first six years of her career before relocating to be near family in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon relocating, Dr. Raymond joined the Adult Cochlear Implant Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she saw patients both clinically and in conjunction with the UNC research program.

Dr. Raymond was thrilled to transition from the hospital setting to private practice and joined Aim Hearing and Audiology Services in 2021. She has enjoyed the diversity in her role, from adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, hearing aid consultation and fittings, to cochlear implant evaluations and mappings. She loves connecting with her patients and guiding them through their hearing health journey, from the initial diagnosis to selecting a device and continuing their ongoing care over the years. She believes that hearing loss is deeply personal, and she enjoys helping her patients succeed with their individual hearing needs.

Dr. Raymond has her Clinical Certificate of Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-A).
