Up until recently, the main way our patients have been receiving our care has meant travelling for appointments, sitting in a waiting room, and having a face-to-face appointment with one of our audiologists.
But with our new “Tele Audiology” service, you can now enjoy the convenience of seeing an audiologist face-to-face, in the comfort of your own home using video calling technology.
What is a Tele Audiology Appointment?
Rather than having to travel and personally visit our hearing center in Greensboro to see an audiologist, “Tele Audiology” offers a personal face-to-face conversation through your cell, tablet, or home computer.
This means that you’re able to speak directly to your audiologist, very much in the same way you would if you had visited, without having to travel across town.
It might be to discuss any challenges you are having with your own hearing health or to help a loved one who isn’t able to get to an appointment. Ultimately, we’re here to provide you with the support and advanced audiological care you need without the disruption of what can sometimes be a stressful journey to get to us.
If you are a hearing aid wearer, your appointment could be used to discuss any issues you might be having with them. And the exciting thing is, with the very latest hearing aid technology, we can provide remote programming, help you to change settings, and make adjustments without having to visit us, too.
